February 28th 2013: GhostFace Project finally revealed!
Well, after a long time of seeing mysterious tweets, and thinking and thinking, ‘What could it be’ we have found out via ‘Billy’ aka Busted815 on Twitter what RJ Torbert has been teasing us with for the last couple of years..
The final outcome?! A novel by Mr Torbert himself based in the village of Port Jefferson,
Ghost Face returns as you have never seen or read before. The village of Port Jefferson, Long Island, NY is rocked by a kidnapping on the Cross Island Ferry that leads to a series of murders that adds to the mystery. Detectives Powers and Johnson, led by Detective Lieutenant Cronin, are pressured by national media, the FBI, and the public to solve the related cases before more lives are lost. Things become tense as the Detectives’ personal lives become complicated as the mystery unwinds in the case that would become known as “The Face of Fear.”

November 9th 2012: RJ Torbert reveals molds on Twitter!
It seems to be the year of ‘Mold Reveal’s’ this year as RJ and Fun World have shown us both GhostFace® spoof and normal molds… Picture courtesy of Fun World!

Since the picture has surfaced here and generally online there has been speculation among some as to whether these were actual FANTASTIC FACES/Peanut Eyed Ghost mask Molds.. The Mother one on the right and the two copies ARE the Genuine article! Not SCRE4M tagged types we see today!
The Mother Mold was the main one for use until volume increased and the others were made just in case as RJ tells us.
July 18th 2012: Whatever happened to the GhostFace® Spoof Molds ?
I remember a while ago now that RJ told me about the Molds for the Scary Movie’ GhostFace® spoof masks STILL existing… when i asked where they were he simply said.. ‘I have them LOCKED in my office’ …
After requesting some photos of the rare GhostFace® booty’ i have been told i can have some pictures soon..
We will finally see what mask molds look like after all these years locked away!
Whilst on the subject i asked about what it was like and who did the deals with regards to the ‘Scary Movie’ project.. The answer back was…
‘RJ and Alan negotiated the deal. RJ was at 100% of the meetings, while Alan was at 90% of the meetings. Details can not be released, but it would have made a great reality series!’
Thanks to RJ for the info so far.. I look forward to seeing the pictures which will be along in the next few days or so..
July 14th 2012: ‘SCREAM’ TV series is ‘Nothing’ at this time !
Since early June we heard rumors of MTV having a SCREAM TV Series in the works apparently.. after that it went quiet for headlines, and many fans let their thoughts be known on it, some saying maybe, and others saying quite plainly.. No! !
I was one of the ‘maybe/but probably , NO!’ types… but tonight on Twitter a fan asked RJ to do him a favour, that favour was to deny MTV permission to use GhostFace® in the new series to which RJ replied with the following Tweet which also linked to me in the tweet, hence why im adding this now….
Tweet from JoshieB93 to RJ.. Then RJ replying..
‘@RJTorbert Do me (and numerous other GF fans) a huge favor? when mtv comes to you for permission to use GhostFace in there show just say no?’
‘@JoshieB93 U R first to know. Good timing–I spoke to MTV——-as of now there is nothing to talk about @Ghostfacecouk’
Followed by me.. ‘So, at this time there is no TV Series of SCREAM in the making…’
RJ: ‘As of now. Nothing’
So there you have it, for now anyway.. NO SCREAM TV series is in the works at this time.

June 14th 2012: Marielle Jaffe Tweets back, New Version mask… Various Tidbits..
Well its been a while since any new Scream 5 news came about and to be honest im not holding my breath for the meantime, it looks as though we need a damn good writer and even if found the fans may disagree with the choice.. myself included. It looks as though there is more on a ‘Scary Movie 5’ than a Scream 5..
What else then??
Well recently i tweeted to Marielle Jaffe and got a response.. below..

In other news us fans still wonder what’s around the corner for Ghostface, for a long time now RJ has kept up his cryptic tweets and has spoke of a big ‘project’ thats going on.. a possible announcement around late June or early July could see us all being told what it is exactly and put us all at ease. Only time will tell.
Also… something i should have mentioned a short while back when ‘Steffen’ told me about this.. (Deadraofficial on Twitter) yes, another new version mask.. this time ‘GhostFace Mummy’ …
Looks to be a fabric mask instead of the latex rubber.. only recently released and not many online at this time, on Ebay there are some listed but the postage is sadly too high just for one mask.. $35 too high.. then you add the price of the mask on to that!! Shocking to say the least.. the mask is on Fun World’s new site in the costumes category. The mask will be added to the mask page in the very near future.
And a small update… just in now.. After just speaking with RJ he told me he had been getting questions about the recent TV Series of Scream.. i post below his quote he sent to me..
“I’ve been asked many times in regard to the proposed T V series that was in media recently, I can confirm to U that Fun World has not been Approached or contacted as of this date and if Ghost Face were to be used–obviously , they would need our approval”. R J
So there we have it for those that wondered about it.. Straight from the man himself.. so at this time the TV series of SCREAM’ is just as it was when first reported.. Thanks to RJ for the info! Much Appreciated!
