August 19th 2014: The Face of Fear – Signed book for sale – Various Tidbits..

Its been a slow couple of months since the last video i added on here, various small tidbits popping up in regards to the SCREAM TV series, cast news, crew mentions, and others talking about what is coming in the future.. while it may give us fans something to think about we still dont have the news as to whether GhostFace will be involved.
Many fans were wondering what will happen if the mask isn’t approved for use.. others saying it would have to be involved for it to carry the name SCREAM in the title… Myself?…. well, im not sure, i dont always think that franchises can always do both sides of TV and films… things like Star Trek, then yes, Police Academy, then maybe… Even the old Disney Herbie films had a TV series that was short lived but is still watchable… With SCREAM… i dont think it will be the same, especially as Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson arent anywhere to be seen.. well not in a direct capacity like the first two films…. Time will tell… I only hope it doesn’t mark the SCREAM name, because if it does then a SCREAM 5 is most likely a ‘Big No No’ as Randy would say… not that its not the same now…

The Face of Fear – Signed book
Back in May of this year i did a charity Ghost hunt (Listed further down the page) with Dean Maynard.. at that time we had things to auction off to try and help get a bigger sum of money raised, we have a signed book or two around and currently one sits on Ebay.. as signed by RJ Torbert himself.. Click the link on the top banner here for the auction…

RARE GhostFace mask coming soon for auction…
I can only say a few things on this at this time… a rare (1 of 1) GhostFace mask is going to be coming soon for auction, with the word ‘rare’ being involved i may put a reserve on the mask at the time of going online, as i dont want it being wasted on someone who only wants to pay a low amount on it… i will say that i have never seen a mask like it in all of Ghostface’s life, and i hope fans like what they see come the time of showing pictures.. More soon on this.. keep an eye on this page..

Thanks to ‘Joshie B’ … Another Domain added here..
Fan of SCREAM and Ghostface made a generous contribution a short while back to this site in the form of another domain name, if you were to type in your browsers… www.Ghostface.us then it will come back to this site..
THANKS VERY MUCH Mr Josh… Much appreciated.. I would have put something up sooner but its been busy over here with other things lately..

GhostFace, Michael Myers and The Fisherman will be in force on Halloween.
Yes, after the Charity Ghost Hunt was successful back in May we now have another Halloween event going on back at the Darlington Civic Theatre, and again its that Dean Maynard thats behind it.. More to come on this in the very near future…

Well, after a long time of seeing mysterious tweets, and thinking and thinking, ‘What could it be’ we have found out via ‘Billy’ aka Busted815 on Twitter what RJ Torbert has been teasing us with for the last couple of years..

The final outcome?! A novel by Mr Torbert himself based in the village of Port Jefferson,

Ghost Face returns as you have never seen or read before. The village of Port Jefferson, Long Island, NY is rocked by a kidnapping on the Cross Island Ferry that leads to a series of murders that adds to the mystery. Detectives Powers and Johnson, led by Detective Lieutenant Cronin, are pressured by national media, the FBI, and the public to solve the related cases before more lives are lost. Things become tense as the Detectives’ personal lives become complicated as the mystery unwinds in the case that would become known as “The Face of Fear.”

The new project has a permanent place now here too, you can view more info by clicking ‘The Face of Fear’ link above, a new site also was created for the novel which is also linked on the new page, as well as a facebook page.

The Face of Fear now has a ‘Support/Fan’ Twitter account in use, to help promote the book more! Click HERE!

Thanks to Buster aka Billy for doing the announcement and now its noted in Ghostface history, and noted on the ‘Project’ page..

mothermolds

It seems to be the year of ‘Mold Reveal’s’ this year as RJ and Fun World have shown us both GhostFace® spoof and normal molds… Picture courtesy of Fun World!

Tweets from RJ came below before the pic came!

coming soon, the “MOTHER” mold of Ghost Face, twitter followers are the “first” to see. Stay Tuned! as promised

“mother”mold on right- 2 on left were done in case problems,+ have been used due 2 volume.Enjoy!courtesy Fun World

Since the picture has surfaced here and generally online there has been speculation among some as to whether these were actual FANTASTIC FACES/Peanut Eyed Ghost mask Molds.. The Mother one on the right and the two copies ARE the Genuine article! Not SCRE4M tagged types we see today!
The Mother Mold was the main one for use until volume increased and the others were made just in case as RJ tells us.

Last year saw a sigh of relief for some fans after they were told via myself after inquiring to RJ Torbert that they could get their hands on the Metallic GhostFace® masks, via ‘Savers’ or ‘Value Village’ stores.. as 4000 were made… many a fan took this chance and now own these mask types!

This year i e mailed the ‘Savers’ branch i got my masks from and gladly they do have them again..

On another note, a fan i know of ‘Sean’ from USA got some stores info from the head office and its available in a download-able file HERE… Numbers and Addresses of stores so you can check availability. Thanks Sean!

Some more facts from RJ Torbert about this years Metallic’s…

7,000 pieces only made and shipped of the metallic mask in four colors——PURPLE, GREEN, BLUE AND ORANGE

Savers’ Stores has about 3,700 Piece’s
Savers’ Canada stores have around 1,600 Piece’s
Small stores throughout the U.S have another 2,000 Piece’s.

So there you have it, More available and not just from one chain this year. Thanks to RJ for the info!

July 18th 2012: Whatever happened to the GhostFace® Spoof Molds ?

I remember a while ago now that RJ told me about the Molds for the Scary Movie’ GhostFace® spoof masks STILL existing… when i asked where they were he simply said.. ‘I have them LOCKED in my office’ …

After requesting some photos of the rare GhostFace® booty’ i have been told i can have some pictures soon..
We will finally see what mask molds look like after all these years locked away!

Whilst on the subject i asked about what it was like and who did the deals with regards to the ‘Scary Movie’ project.. The answer back was…

‘RJ and Alan negotiated the deal. RJ was at 100% of the meetings, while Alan was at 90% of the meetings. Details can not be released, but it would have made a great reality series!’

Thanks to RJ for the info so far.. I look forward to seeing the pictures which will be along in the next few days or so..

July 14th 2012: ‘SCREAM’ TV series is ‘Nothing’ at this time !

Since early June we heard rumors of MTV having a SCREAM TV Series in the works apparently.. after that it went quiet for headlines, and many fans let their thoughts be known on it, some saying maybe, and others saying quite plainly.. No! !

I was one of the ‘maybe/but probably , NO!’ types… but tonight on Twitter a fan asked RJ to do him a favour, that favour was to deny MTV permission to use GhostFace® in the new series to which RJ replied with the following Tweet which also linked to me in the tweet, hence why im adding this now….

Tweet from JoshieB93 to RJ.. Then RJ replying..

‘@RJTorbert Do me (and numerous other GF fans) a huge favor? when mtv comes to you for permission to use GhostFace in there show just say no?’

‘@JoshieB93 U R first to know. Good timing–I spoke to MTV——-as of now there is nothing to talk about @Ghostfacecouk’

Followed by me.. ‘So, at this time there is no TV Series of SCREAM in the making…’

RJ: ‘As of now. Nothing’

So there you have it, for now anyway.. NO SCREAM TV series is in the works at this time.

Thanks to RJ for info, and to JoshieB93 for asking RJ!

June 14th 2012: Marielle Jaffe Tweets back, New Version mask… Various Tidbits..

Well its been a while since any new Scream 5 news came about and to be honest im not holding my breath for the meantime, it looks as though we need a damn good writer and even if found the fans may disagree with the choice.. myself included. It looks as though there is more on a ‘Scary Movie 5’ than a Scream 5..

What else then??

Well recently i tweeted to Marielle Jaffe and got a response.. below..

@MarielleJaffe Hi Marielle, how’s about a ‘Hello’ to the uk’s Ghostface site!? 🙂 I know you and Ghostface didn’t get on, but please.. 😉

To which i got a response.. ‘@Ghostfacecouk Oh so NOW you wanna be friends?? haha Hi Ghostface and everyone in the UK!! Sending bloody Olivia hugs your way! :)) ‘

The conversation continued a little.. see my Twitter link for more and go to the date May 27th..

In other news us fans still wonder what’s around the corner for Ghostface, for a long time now RJ has kept up his cryptic tweets and has spoke of a big ‘project’ thats going on.. a possible announcement around late June or early July could see us all being told what it is exactly and put us all at ease. Only time will tell.

Also… something i should have mentioned a short while back when ‘Steffen’ told me about this.. (Deadraofficial on Twitter) yes, another new version mask.. this time ‘GhostFace Mummy’ …
Looks to be a fabric mask instead of the latex rubber.. only recently released and not many online at this time, on Ebay there are some listed but the postage is sadly too high just for one mask.. $35 too high.. then you add the price of the mask on to that!! Shocking to say the least.. the mask is on Fun World’s new site in the costumes category. The mask will be added to the mask page in the very near future.

And a small update… just in now.. After just speaking with RJ he told me he had been getting questions about the recent TV Series of Scream.. i post below his quote he sent to me..

“I’ve been asked many times in regard to the proposed T V series that was in media recently, I can confirm to U that Fun World has not been Approached or contacted as of this date and if Ghost Face were to be used–obviously , they would need our approval”. R J

So there we have it for those that wondered about it.. Straight from the man himself.. so at this time the TV series of SCREAM’ is just as it was when first reported.. Thanks to RJ for the info! Much Appreciated!

Thanks for reading.. Tim
