Hello again, well finally its coming to the favourite time of year for me and im sure others… Halloween…flesh colour mask gf
As mentioned in the headline below this we have a ghost hunt coming up on Halloween night, and again this will feature GhostFace running about scaring many people with the help of Michael Myers and the
Fisherman too..

But what about this Flesh Coloured GhostFace mask?? Well, to help raise money as always RJ Torbert has sent over a special mask very similar to the Gold hooded mask as seen on the Masks page, both masks have back stories, and RJ promises to share the story of the Gold Hooded Flesh colour mask pretty soon.. this particular mask WILL be placed in an online auction to raise money for Charity… (Auction ended).

Its that time of year again, where i say HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all! So thankfully Christmas and New Year are now out of the way again, so we move onto what is coming soon, or at least for Fun World in this case, as with every year it is the Halloween Party Expo show in Houston, Texas… Fun World always have the biggest spot there and normally we get treated to some pics from RJ Torbert while setting up and after completion too!

1963!! I wasn’t even thought of.. even my mum was only 8 years old! , but at that time a company grew from this point, the main man being Stanley Geller.. and here we are 50 years later, Fun World still going good, and they now have 3 generations of family in the staff, Stanley, Allen, and Allen’s daughter, Samantha.

This weekend see’s a yearly event come round again, the Halloween and Party Expo show, if you find Booth 1817 then you will find Fun World, normally on the biggest plot there.. as always since 2011 RJ has shared pictures with us via Twitter of the setup and other things in photo’s.. this year is no different, Pictures below that RJ posted on his Twitter account.. It seems to be the year of ‘Mold Reveal’s’ this year as RJ and Fun World have shown us both GhostFace® spoof and normal molds… Picture courtesy of Fun World!

Since the picture has surfaced here and generally online there has been speculation among some as to whether these were actual FANTASTIC FACES/Peanut Eyed Ghost mask Molds.. The Mother one on the right and the two copies ARE the Genuine article! Not SCRE4M tagged types we see today!
The Mother Mold was the main one for use until volume increased and the others were made just in case as RJ tells us.

Last year saw a sigh of relief for some fans after they were told via myself after inquiring to RJ Torbert that they could get their hands on the Metallic GhostFace® masks, via ‘Savers’ or ‘Value Village’ stores.. as 4000 were made… many a fan took this chance and now own these mask types!

This year i e mailed the ‘Savers’ branch i got my masks from and gladly they do have them again..

On another note, a fan i know of ‘Sean’ from USA got some stores info from the head office and its available in a download-able file HERE… Numbers and Addresses of stores so you can check availability. Thanks Sean!

Some more facts from RJ Torbert about this years Metallic’s…

7,000 pieces only made and shipped of the metallic mask in four colors——PURPLE, GREEN, BLUE AND ORANGE

Savers’ Stores has about 3,700 Piece’s
Savers’ Canada stores have around 1,600 Piece’s
Small stores throughout the U.S have another 2,000 Piece’s.

So there you have it, More available and not just from one chain this year. Thanks to RJ for the info!

I remember a while ago now that RJ told me about the Molds for the Scary Movie’ GhostFace® spoof masks STILL existing… when i asked where they were he simply said.. ‘I have them LOCKED in my office’ …

After requesting some photos of the rare GhostFace® booty’ i have been told i can have some pictures soon..
We will finally see what mask molds look like after all these years locked away!

Whilst on the subject i asked about what it was like and who did the deals with regards to the ‘Scary Movie’ project.. The answer back was…

‘RJ and Alan negotiated the deal. RJ was at 100% of the meetings, while Alan was at 90% of the meetings. Details can not be released, but it would have made a great reality series!’

Thanks to RJ for the info so far.. I look forward to seeing the pictures which will be along in the next few days or so..

In Houston the set-up is coming along nice according to RJ Torbert, last year we saw many a picture from him and hopefully this year we will see more pictures too.. many a fan would love to go there im sure and see many a mask and costume close by, last year RJ was giving away $100 dollar bills to people with GhostFace® ties who he picked out, wonder if anything like it will happen this year.. ?
