Well, a short while ago we saw YouTube videos of many figures from Sideshow Collectibles, one of which was a Sixth scale GhostFace figure.. ( Video Link – Go to Time Stamp 7:36) there was no set price at the time, but now, we finally see the release of this beautiful figure.. See link HERE TO PRE-ORDER YOURS NOW !! These are High Quality figures to say the least !!
Some info from sideshow below.. Images belong to Sideshow Collectibles.
Pre-orders for the Ghost Face Sixth Scale Figure will begin on Thursday, October 1st between 12pm-3pm PT and the figure will be priced at $210 USD.
Sideshow presents the Ghost Face Sixth Scale Figure, making a famously frightening addition to any collection of horror figures.
Recognizable for the haunting expression frozen on an elongated white mask, Ghost Face is an unmistakably iconic part of the Halloween season. The Ghost Face Sixth Scale Figure captures the silent menace of this masked villain, wearing a tailored fabric costume of tattered black reaper robes complete with a hood and belt. The figure also features sculpted gloves, shoes, and the mask portrait carefully sculpted to scare you with its fidelity to the frightening trademark design.
Well, we are getting some GhostFace news recently… Earlier in the year we found out about the LDD ‘Living Dead Dolls’ Mezco figure, then Neca mentions more figures, and then more figures from Neca, as in Ultimate GhostFace and the Toony Terrors type, and now… ANOTHER Figure… This time from Sideshow Collectibles.. A 1/6th scale GhostFace figure..
And one that looks beautiful with it’s mask sculpt!! By FAR, its a very nice mask we are getting on there..
See screengrabs below from the YouTube videos that Sideshow have been putting online this week, as it was time to showcase many of their creations…
Video also below… GhostFace appears around the 7:36 time stamp…
Well, today we got more news regarding the other NECA GhostFace figures that we heard about earlier this year… Today, NECA posted PROTOTYPE Pictures of what is to come…

We can’t wait to hear you Scream!!!! Toony Terrors Ghostface coming in Series 5. #sdcc#necacon
Well, here we are… almost halfway through 2020 already… and its been a funny (as in weird) time for us all with this worldwide pandemic causing nothing but trouble, but even before that we as GhostFace and Scream fans already had news about new merchandise on the way… and as time went on, we also got more small glimmers on info regarding Scream 5…
Firstly, its the newer NECA figure.. arriving later this year, ( JULY 2020 is stated on the NECA site) .. It was all the way back in 2011 we had NECA figures, we had the full plastic figures and also the half cloth, half plastic types, both with the Classic and Zombie masks in use, the figures were also featured in DVD-Blu ray box sets for the movies too..
The figures got mixed reviews by many fans, and lots didnt like the half plastic half cloth types, although they did end up being sought after, and even today you can find them on ebay at higher prices as fans now know thet are more rare, we also had a GhostFace Head Knocker, which was much more well recieved, and is the rarest to find now out of those released in 2011..
Now 2020 is here and we have another type coming…. Text from NECA website below… Pictures are also from the NECA website..
Ghostface stands 8″ tall and is fully poseable, with a tailored robe, hood and sleeves modeled after the real life Ghostface costume. He features a screen-accurate sculpted mask, interchangeable hands, and comes complete with his signature knife.
Blister card packaging with removable protective clamshell and all new custom illustrated artwork.
Second… the LDD / Mezco Toys figure… announced early on this year, and looks to be a really nice sculpt on the mask, i was sent a few pictures of this with different backgrounds, the figure looked really good, it will be 10 inches and come in a ‘Window Box’ (Think of the very early horror headliners figure) and it will be that style of packaging … main plastic window on the front, not a blister pack.
You can Pre-Order it from theBig Bad Toy Store... Details from the LDD site here too… Pics below… RELEASE ALSO SET FOR JULY 2020
Well, lastly (for now) we have the rumours that keep popping up about SCREAM 5…. Whilst there has been some response lately from Neve Campbell there hasnt been as much from David or Courteney or even Hayden Pannetierre.. Many people have stated they love to see Kirby back, and some even saying that she should be the main character now.. (Which isnt something i would want) , but the most recent thing from Neve is… below… Via RottenTomatoes… From May 6th Article.
“We’re having conversations – I have been approached about it,” she told Rotten Tomatoes. “The timing’s a bit challenging because of COVID. You know, we only started the conversation maybe a month and a half ago, so it’s going to take some time to figure out how it’s all going to work out…. We’re negotiating, so we’ll see.”
“The two directors wrote me a very touching letter about Wes Craven and how he was such an inspiration to them and how they really want to honor him, and that meant a great, great deal to me. So we’ll see. Hopefully we can all see eye to eye on the project and find a way to make it.”
Campbell added: “I’m so grateful for these films… I love Sidney Prescott. It’s always fun for me to step back in her shoes, and it’s always fun for me to see the cast come back and make one of these films again and try to make another good one.”
While i do hope personally to see a Scream 5 in future, it has to be done right, the MASSIVE LOSS of Wes Craven may affect it too much, but as Neve stated the film makers are trying to honor him and do the right thing… one thing i notice nowdays though, is that the slightest little thing that crops up on a SCREAM 5 and its all over the place!! Social media and website news has certainly changed since way back in 2010 and 2011 when me, and John Valeri (SCREAM FRANCHISE EXAMINER) and Rodrigo (HELLOSIDNEY.com) and ST.net (John Klyza) was about reporting about the filming of Scream 4, and seeing Wes and other cast take to twitter to post up info and pics, now i see a SLIGHT bit of info go online and already someone somewhere will have made a 10-15 minute video and stick it on YouTube at their earliest convinience..!!!! Posting their speculations!! (And thats all they are) ….
And these are some things that aren’t even confirmed as of yet!! Hence why i don’t rush to get things posted about it !!!
At this time though, this COVID-19 virus is delaying EVERYTHING… so while little glimmers of light do appear for SCREAM 5, DON’T be so hasty to go believing it just because of a YT video or RUMOUR that may be hold water 100% …
For now., stay safe!! and keep hydrated!! and stay healthy as much as you can!!
Well, Here we are again… now in 2020!!! In 2011 we had a Tagline saying ‘New Decade New Rules.’… In this case, its more like, New Decade, New GhostFace…
As always Fun World have attended the Halloween Expo Show at New Orleans, an event which happens every year, either in January or February, this time it ran from January 17th-19th.
This is always anticipated by fans who normally get to see online images posted, either by RJ Torbert, or other fans who manage to attend, but it is not a public event, its trade only!
Even so, this opportunity gives the fans a first glance at what is due to come in the following Halloween season, last year we saw the reintroduction of the Fluorescent’s (Green, Pink and Orange) as last seen in the very late 90’s, and we also had Metallics back again, along with the EL GhostFace and also a selection of other masks that included Scary Movie types…
This year however we seem to have much less, The Devil Face has returned (After being discontinued before) and this is due to the masks popularity in the #DeadByDaylight game, and sadly we seem to have lost the Fluorescent’s, AND Metallic’s !!! No sign of them anywhere.
There was another new type though, one that on first glance made fans think it was the 25th Anniversary mask again, but then when you looked closely it was similar, but different, this time with a rainbow reflective finish, which has been named (According to Frank McGovern- Fun World Designer) the ‘Oil Slick’ GhostFace mask… Frank did add some pictures for us all to see, but it looks really bare compared to previous years when seeing the selection as a whole.
Pictures that surfaced are below.. Picture Credit : Frank McGovern
So… its that time of year again, which is basically Fun World’s time to shine and rent the biggest booth at the New Orleans Halloween Party Expo show, most of the time we see RJ Torbert snap various images of the booths construction phases and also pics of many of the ranges whether its GhostFace or something from other licences they may have got… But in the past we have also seen pictures from fans who have been to the show, last year Louise from the MadaboutHorror website attended, and a year or so previous a brother of a known GhostFace collector (Alex Jones) was sent images to share of what i believe was Devil Faces first appearance there too… This time, we see Alex’s brother is there again and he has snapped some pictures for us all to see, so full credit to him for sharing…
What remains a mystery this year though is the fact that the Devil Face, Skele Face and the Hard White PU Ghostface masks are missing?!? On one of the pictures we see a hard white PU GhostFace mask but it has the ‘Bib Style’ material on it, thus confirming its still used in costume packages… but none of the plastic assortment are seen here as the normal shrouded masks.. So have they been discontinued??
One other mask that DOES appear in the pictures is the EU Stamp mask, although no fans ( That i know of ) found it last year it is still seen at the show.. so WHERE do we find it as fans for sale this year?? Hopefully we may find some eventually..
The last piece of news here is from RJ Torbert, i spoke to him twice recently on the phone and he confirmed that the Metallic Masks WILL BE part of the normal mask lines from now on, so ALL retailers can order these again and they are no longer an EXCLUSIVE type… so USA fans may be able to find these again this year in many retail stores… Images below, Thanks to RJ for the new Metallics picture, and Thanks to Alex Jones and his brother for sharing the expo show pictures…
Well, here we are again.. already its halfway through 2018! And although we GhostFace fans always look forward to Halloween we do have some items that come out earlier with regards to new merchandise, although this time there is good and bad news!
Cavity Colors has been producing GhostFace enamel pins under license for a while now, we had the box set of 5 pins to start us off, followed by a Halloween themed ‘GhostFace Carver’ pin months later, and now, well we had 2 pins released! This is where we get the good and bad news…
The good news! Well, the new pin DOES come in the standard White mask form! And they are still for sale as i type this out! Click the banner above and head to the Cavity Colors site to purchase one or two!
The BAD news… in making this latest pin variant it was decided that a RED ‘Blood Variant’ pin would also be made! BUT… it was limited to ONLY 50 PINS!
AND THEY SOLD OUT LITERALLY WITHIN SECONDS! AND SADLY THERE WILL BE NO MORE!
Well, we have a rare sight here tonight, this popped up via Facebook and straight away i had to watch it and see what it was all about!
Over the years i have had brief contact with Superfan Nate Ragon, but if i message him he responds, and vice versa, He has also provided info for this site in the past on the FAQ page and by providing pictures and info in regards to Screen used mask types.. Needless to say, Nate is well known among SCREAM and GhostFace fans as he has had the honor of owning some damn good AND RARE props from the movies, including the KNB mask types, and many Fun World GhostFace masks as used on screen, and to my knowledge he was one of the first fans to probably get his hands on things that arent as easy to come by nowadays, as the collecting hobby has grown by massive amounts in recent years… Nate also was featured in the 2011 Documentary ‘Still Screaming’ by Anthony Masi, We saw him show off many items including the KNB mask (Which he no longer owns) but he still has many cool things from the films like the Screen used costume from Scream 3 from when Roman gets shot by Dewey, and he even has Romans award which loses its head in the STAB 3 Studio scene just before Jenny McCarthy’s character meets GhostFace!
The video below is from March 30th 2018, so its very recent at the time of posting this… Enjoy!
Also below is the first time Nate talked to Chiller chat, all the way back in 2011 !
Hello again… Time goes so quick it seems.. it doesn’t feel like it will be 7 years in April since Scream 4 was released, but it will be. And it also doesn’t feel like 11 years (well, just over) since i started this site.. And every year i put up a summary of the year gone by, and what we have to look forward to in the new year..
In very early 2017 we got the same as we always do get from Fun World/ RJ Torbert, which is normally (depending on show dates) in January in New Orleans, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Fun World always get the biggest booth there and we always see pictures from RJ showing different stages of the booth being built up and then the products being added.. in last years post there were pictures as always yet not a lot of people (including myself) noticed a Devil Face mask sitting to the side of an illuminated Fun World Logo panel.. soon enough another fan who was there ‘Sam Jones’ got some pictures and confirmed what was displayed in the Fun World booth for GhostFace items..(Skele-Face, Devil Face), also including the EU Stamped GhostFace mask which is sadly rarer to find now.. See LINK HERE for original post.
A little later in February we saw more images via Fun worlds website showing the NEW Skele-Face and Devil Face costumes, but at this time we didn’t all know if a White ‘Hard PU Plastic’ GhostFace existed…
We also saw in pictures via MadAboutHorror website, (who attended a Palmers Agencies show in the uk) that a Red Shroud Devil Face mask had been made, yet this was just a couple of Producton samples that Fun World had made, and they only released the normal Black Shroud type for retail.
A little later in February details were released about an accident RJ and his wife had been involved in back in late 2013.. and also he revealed to us something that would be included in his third novel, which was an ‘event’ that actually happened to Wes Craven, Wes had shared the story with RJ and told him to maybe use it for his next book, Details are still unknown in full to the fans, but RJ believes that this is a last gift to fans from Wes, hence why Wes had shared the info..
In this month we got some news that Aaron Crawford who owns the company ‘Cavity Colors‘ were releasing a new set of Enamel GhostFace pins, the final product was very nice and came in a box set of 5 pins, one that glowed in the dark, a STAB green mask with a ‘Stabbing action’ and 3 other types, which were the Bleeding mask, the Silver Chrome 25th Anniversary mask, and the ‘Whassup’ mask type from Scary Movie.. Only 500 box sets were made!
In this month i finally got a short video made showing fans how they could get scuffs and black marks from GhostFace Ultra White masks..
August, September, October, and into 2018..
As soon as August got underway we had masks already going out for sale in the USA, this started off with fans (who were lucky in some cases, as many dont have a Savers or Value Village close-by) finding Metallic GhostFace masks, the same colours as last year, Green, Purple and Blue, but, the Green had changed its tone, now we had a much brighter, almost STAB-Like Green to find, as the Green in previous years had been quite dark and almost looks Black in some lights..
So after fans had been out and about looking for Metallics some had also then started to come across the NEW Devil Face and Skele-Face types, as well as the Hard PU Plastic White GhostFace masks, but again not every fan found it easy to locate some types, in the USA fans struggled to find a Devil Face at all, and it seemed that the UK finally had an advantage for once! Palmers Agencies had ordered Devil Face and gave me a small list of Shops and Websites who had ordered them, in the early stages Websites would sell out overnight and fans would be happy at having all 3 new Plastic masks in their collections.. but with these new masks types being ordered as a selection it lowered the amount of types in each box, most retailers had only order 1 or 2 boxes, which consisted of 2 x Devil Face, 2 x Skele-Face, and 8 x GhostFace, which automatically made the numbers lower on retailers stock of the Devil and Skele Face… After many phone calls and talking again to Palmers Agencies i managed to find more Devil Face masks, (Which seemed to become the most sought after) and i bought as many as i could find, with the intention of letting USA fans buy them from me at uk Retail cost, with ‘Tracked and Signed’ postage added on, many fans took advantage of this and ended up with a Devil Face being added to their collections.. something i had never done on my site before..
Also during the time of Halloween approaching many rare masks seemed to pop up on ebay, including a Pink Fantastic, a Pink FEARSOME! , and many White Fantastics and Fearsomes, also a Production Mask with LOA popped up and was relisted a couple of times, but eventually found a new home…
Later into October we got news of two other things happening, one was the fact that the GhostFace mask WOULD BE returning in Series 3 of the TV Series, which wrapped filming on November 11th…
MTV also put a website online in which fans could share pictures of themselves as GhostFace! SEE HERE!
Also, we had another addition to Cavity Colors Range, in the form of a single Enamel pin, GhostFace carver, in which we see GhostFace doing just tat on a pumpkin! (See recent news)
I also did a couple more ‘firsts’ last Halloween, in the form of Video reviews, one talking about the Latex EU stamped masks and why they are becoming rarer, also the Devil Face and PU Plastic GhostFace get reviewed, and another video covers the Skele-Face mask (as i had not got one at the time of the first video reviews) and also mentions Frank McGovern who was behind the Designs of the GhostFace Zombie, GhostFace Scarecrow, and the Devil Face, and of course, the Skele-Face! See Recent news posts for those!
Well, as far as the site goes, there will be more to come here, it was at the end of November last year in which we reached the 11 year anniversary, and ever since early June 2016 this site has been powered by WordPress, which makes it a lot easier to update and customise, i also noticed it shows a lot more in search results too..
With the expo show coming up again very soon (January 12-15) in New Orleans we should hopefully get a small preview of what may be added to the GhostFace range again, i hope! If anything!
I HAVE been told that the Devil Face and Skele-Face and also the white ‘Hard PU Plastic’ GhostFace will be returning this year, and i have also heard a whisper that Palmers Agencies ‘may’ be getting some Metallic’s this year! Which will be a first’ in a long time! Last time i knew of Metallic’s being for sale in the UK was around 2003!! Time will tell though!
For now though, Dont do Drugs, Dont Have Sex, and Dont ever say ‘You’ll be right back’!
Keep an eye out for the expo show pictures coming very soon… and if you are going to the event then PLEASE get some pictures of GhostFace for us!
