My thoughts exactly. It's unfortunate that should there be another film made Kevin most likely won't be writing it but Scream 3 did turn out great despite the fact that he didn't write it. I think that perhaps the best route they can take for the series is to make two more sequels and let Scream rest. Franchises run the risk of losing their appealing factor with the more sequels that are made. As much as I love the HalloweeN films not every single one of them has done well in the box office although getting every single entry in a franchise to do just as good as the first is something that would be rather hard to accomplish.Ghostface_Craven wrote:As a fan of the series since the beginning it's a mixed feeling. My first initial thought when someone mentions more SCREAM films I'm all for it. I think if there is a sequel done that it should be done in mind as following the groundwork laid before them.
That's a very good point but I personally believe that they should just leave the series alone. I think it would be best.Ghostface_Craven wrote:It's one of those things that either with a reboot you dissatisfy the old fans and please the news ones or vice versa. I don't want a reboot particularly but maybe it is time for a for some "new blood" so the speak.
