i dont know how old or if new this news is but yep on imdb it says scary movie 5 will be released 2011
i love all the scary movies!
this sounds great so what do you guys think the main parodies should be??
well scream is coming back! you never know even though scream was one of the main parodies in the first scary movie you never know :Oo

I didn't know about this either. Maybe it's not for sure confirmed. I mean Scream 4 was on imdb for years and it was just recently confirmed. But if they're gonna do this, they need to go back to being Rated R because 1 and 2 are hilarious (both rated R). 3 is so-so, and 4 did not get one laugh from me (both pg13). It was the course language and the raunchiness that made them funny, lol.

I remember hearing a short while back that Anna Faris and Regina Hall were wanting back if each of them agreed,but also something was said along the lines of that there had not been enough scary movies for them to base the 5th one on.. surely there must be now though.

I seen something a while ago about it, did'nt know it was for sure though.
i was'nt fussy on Scary movie 4, i went to see it when it first came out, they should of stopped at 3 in my opinion.

Scary Movie 2 and on are just ridiculous. Making fun of Signs,8 Mile,The Ring, hell even Charlies Angels are just pathetic.

Scary Movie 5 could be fun. Lots of films to make paradies of. Plus they could even take a stab at horror re-makes. That would be great!
