According to IMDb the Weinsteins are only distributing, they aren't producing. Is that right?
Kevin Williamson's twitter page still says "Writer/Producer Vampire Diaries, Scream 4" and he hasn't said anything about quitting Scream, so I'm not entirely sure how true these claims are.

This is a bit of a sore subject at the moment. Hopefully some answers soon.

Why did you lock the other thread on the subject, lol. I was just proving a point. It's just a classic case of debating. I was doing it for us fans, lol. Screambuff just needs to stop being so bitter about everything... if the movie does suck however (if it does, I will be absolutely crushed... it would be like losing a pet), then he can say "I told you so".

But Screambuff, you're a diehard like us... be positive! Lol it's the only thing we can do.

I like the positive appraoch to things. Not just the movie but with Screambuff as well. I don't have a problem with the guy. It's just the constant negativity that goes with it gets old. Just saying.

Screambuff has a negative attitude about it all and most of the forum members don't like it, which then can turn into an argument. Just trying to keep the forum a nice friendly place :)

I prefer this place to be a positive place to come talk about Scream. So many other boards (not Scream related) all they seem to do is argue which is why I don't go there anymore. I like coming here so I hope it stays a positive atmosphere.

even if scream 4 was awful i'd still buy it and talk about it, because it's Scream! and i'd atleast point out the good things about it.

It better not be awful, lol. My friends would laugh at me for weeks.

Even if is bad which I certainly hope not we can always say at least it wasn't a re-make. I hope it's just as awesome as the first Scream.

i really don't think it will be bad from what i have read from the sides it's VERY clever and VERY scary sounding......VERY (hehe)
