I really didn't like the voice changer in this one. It seemed a little too tongue in cheek for the killer to have everyone's voice on that thing. I don't think it is even possible to have a program copy voices like that.

quite a few people have said that, many fans prefer the normal one as it means whoever the killer is,is just on the phone as "a Voice" and not anyone in particular,instead of imitating others..

Wasn't there meant to be a scene where he was at his computer adding the voices to the changer? But it was scrapped because it would look odd with Ghostface at a computer and wearing the costume still.

Lol yeah it says that in the commentary. Yes, that would have been pretty stupid. But for Scream 4, the normal voice changer better be back.

It would be awkward if someone walked in lol.

It was too unrealistic for the film but it did add to some tension because you didn't know who was on the phone.

I really liked this new voice changer, it had a nice look. Maybe they should go back to the normal voice changer.

well I didnt think it was too impossible, I guess you can easily get someone's voice by just recording a few words but it made it all a lot easier for the killer and a lot easier for the confusion and a lot easier for the screenwriter ... IMO it caused the screenwriter to be a lot lazier in developing a better plot

From what ive always heard they did have loads of trouble and re-writes on Scream 3,maybe this option on the voice changer made it easier for everyone,or it could just be that Kevin Williamsons presence was even more missed and this idea was thrown in by Ehren..

did kevin ever write a scream 3 script. if so i would love to read it. although i love scream 3's script i just would love to see it.

As far as anyone has known he only did a treatment for it.. which is daft because he said to Wes that he had ideas for a trilogy,so he should have finished those ideas,we have had a better Scream 3 that way.

I always dreaded the idea of having someone else writing the third installment. scream and scream 2 are twin movies, but u can tell scream 3 has a very different writing style. the characters are very poorly developed although it has a lot of other good things, it's kind of more sophisticated with all the hollywood plot and all

When first seeing the trailer for Scream 3 i was very excited as i thought Sidney had become an actress and was being stalked on a film set.. As i watched it was still excited especially on Cotton's Scene at the beginning. as we saw where Sid was my excitement calmed sadly. Even Gales calmer status let this film down,Dewey was sort of ok but i thought he may have been a Security Guard or something that involves high Authority.

the big miss out of this movie was hands down Sidney punching Gale in the face.... that was a classic moment in scream movies! still, I hate that they are like sweet to each other and all in this movie
