Needed more blood...

Postby Devils_Reject » Thu Nov 06, 2008 6:57 pm

I'm not a huge gore hound (though I do enjoy fair amounts of gore in horror films) but this one lacked it and I think that hurt it a lot IMO as the first two Scream's had quite a lot of blood and the death scenes (besides the first two) didn't really have a lot of it and didn't feel as tense or effective as the kills in the earlier films. Ghostface just seemed to run up to them stab them in the back or stomach/chest once and run away, anyone else feel the same way?

note: I did like the film just not as much as the first two.

i didn't mind it too much, but after Casey Becker's scene you pretty much expect it to continue, even in the second and third.. even in my films there isn't any gore at all,but thats because i haven't got the money for all the stuff and because they are crappy fan films, not good fan films..

More blood would have certainly helped but not necessarily made it better. Plus after the Columbine shooting more blood was out of the question.
