Help Identify

Postby Fubarek » Mon Mar 11, 2013 9:19 pm

Okay guys, i cannot supply photos at this point in time but i'll try tomorrow for anyone who needs them.

I have a ghostface mask that is a Glow version from around about 2010, the tag looked like this:
Image
(ignore the mask, just pay attention to the tag) but with the large "Glow in the dark!" part on it.

the mask has those weird nylon tie-string things hanging out the side and the chin stamp says"Easter Unlimited Inc. Made In China". It's also a little bent out of shape. Anyone know what kind it is? it has no dimple and no vanilla smell either.

I also own this Ghostface Bust of Ghostface from about the neck up.
(please not this is not a picture of the one i own, but it is the same thing)
Image

It hasnt been in the best living conditions and the face has turned COMPLETELY orange, it has no smell anymore but apparently it smelt somewhat of vanilla when it first came out.

there is a very hard to read stamp on the lower back saying;
"Easter Unlimited Inc, Made in China"

anyone have any clue?

As you say yourself.. its a bust, they first came about in 1997.. Most GF items always smelled of Vanilla then, some still do now.. but you have a GhostFace bust from the sounds of it.. I have one too..

From the sounds of the mask and description of the tag its an ordinary Glow in the dark mask from after 2003.. or even before.. Look on the back of the barcode.. it may have a 'MFGDate' under the code.. if not, then its an older mask.. these were still about just before 2010.. after that the Yellow star vanished...

Looks like Tim pretty much got it answered for you. The mask page on this very website can be very helpful identifying asks as well.
