This movie was amazingggg. I don't even have to explain it okay, just go see it. Lol, here actually. How is this for an explaination. My three all-time favourite movies now (used to only be two all-time) are:
Scream, Casino Royale, and Avatar.
Go see that shit. And make sure you see it in 3D! You literally feel like you're in another world. Man it was wild.

I saw it some point last week, the visuals and effects were outstanding especially in 3D but I didn't really care for the story, the story had been done many times before IMO so I didn't like it as much as I'd hoped :(

It's only the second highest grossing movie of all time, what's the joke in that? Word of mouth people!

I stand by that Inglourious Basterds was the best film of 2009

Yeah last week I realized that it's definitely not one of my FAVV movies. Ahha, it was just a very well done film I thought. But yeah, either way amazing. And yes, I have to agree with you about Inglourious Basterds. Anything Tarentino does is awesome. I own every movie of his.

Star Trek and Boondock Saints disagree.

Star Trek is up there as well, that might be my second favourite of last year... Never saw Boondock Saints 2... or 1.

Avatar was clearly amazing, and it did get the reviews that it deserved. I thought it would be somewhat of a lame ass movie, but I ended up watching it by myself and loved the story behind it and the special effects. It might have been one of the best films of 2009, if not it was up there.. according to movie websites, and me of course. :D

i didn't even want to see this but due to a sold out show for something else i had too.
I really thought it was well done although obviously the story goes exactly where you think it will and there are no moments of wondering whats next for the characters. Just hope there's no sequel, the movie pretty much accomplished all it could with the setting and story.

I haven't watched this movie yet. At this point it just doesn't interest me at all. Maybe I'll rent it on a whim and give it a shot.

... Definitely give it a shot. It's only the top grossing movie of all time.
